Children’s Alliance of Montana is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide support, training and technical assistance to Children’s Advocacy Centers and Multi-Disciplinary Teams across the State of Montana so that every child victim of abuse and his/her non-offending caregiver(s) has access to the services of a Children’s Advocacy Center and the expertise of a Multi-Disciplinary Team.
The Montana Child Sexual Abuse Response Team (MCSART) is a program of the Montana Department of Justice (DOJ) that supports Child Advocacy Centers and multidisciplinary teams.
MCSART provides training, equipment, and technical support to professionals who respond to child victims of serious crime and abuse. MCSART provides training in the areas of child forensic interviewing, medical, victim advocacy, and mental health. MCSART works with county attorneys to improve successful prosecutions of perpetrators.
