This in-person training will provide law enforcement personnel with the guidance, knowledge, tools, and resources necessary to conduct effective, thorough, and trauma-informed child abuse investigations. POST credits will be available.

  • Child Sexual Abuse Investigations
  • Search Warrants
  • Crime Scene Evidence Collection, Preservation, & Report Writing
  • Suspect Interviews – Pretext Phone Calls
  • Physical Abuse Investigations
  • Forensic Interviews
  • Multidisciplinary Teams (MDTs) and Child Advocacy Centers (CACs)

This training is designed for all Montana law enforcement personnel, regardless of rank, who are involved in any stage of child abuse investigations.
